Learn to install and customize the Transmission Control Protocol/Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) functions found in IBM's Communications Server for OS/390 V2R5 through V2R8. At this level, the TCP/IP offering works in conjunction with OS/390 UNIX Services. Learn to explain the features and functions of TCP/IP services for OS/390 and describe key installation and configuration tasks in instructor-led discussions. Learn to perform basic TCP/IP customization for OS/390, configure selected application services, define network interfaces, and configure the subnet environment through hands-on lab exercises.
