Overview:
Develop the skills you need to evaluate and manage DB2 system functions. Learn how to tailor and install DB2 and its attachment facilities, how to determine system problems, and how to set up security procedures. Learn about DB2 system recovery and system performance tuning. Practice the principles and techniques you learn in the lectures during machine-based lab exercises.

Prerequisites:
You should complete:
DB2 Family Fundamentals (CF030), DB2 for OS/390 Database Administration Workshop (CF830) or have equivalent experience and understand how DB2 user data objects are created, managed, and recovered.
