CICS TS for OS/390 Basic Tailoring

Overview:

Learn to install and tailor CICS Transaction Server for OS/390 Version 1.2 (CICS TS 1.2). This course teaches you how to tailor the system to support a basic online application. In lab exercises you define transactions, programs, files, and other resources used by online applications. Lectures include problem determination tools, intersystem communication, and CICS DB2, DBCTL, and MQSeries interfaces.

Who Should Take This Course:

System programmers installing and tailoring CICS TS 1.2 for the first time are eligible. Experienced CICS systems programmers should enroll in

• CICS Transaction Server for OS/390 V1.3: Update (CI940)
